Dip de pollo (chicken dip)

“Dip the pollo” is a very simple dish that’s a must at every Puerto Rican party. People go crazy for it and some (we) would say it is addicting! Practice making it during this time and bring it to your next party with friends after we are done with this social distancing.

Ingredients


  • 1 Canned chicken breast

  • 1 8oz Cream cheese

  • 1/2 sliced onion or onion powder

  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic or garlic powder

  • A hint of “Adobo”

*can add a sliced green/red pepper and cilantro*

Instructions


  • Mix thawed cream cheese in a bowl with the canned chicken breast. Add onion, garlic and a little bit of adobo. You can also add peppers and cilantro to the mix.

  • Serve with Ritz crackers or Tostitos!
