Apple Crunch

This is one of my favorite family recipes. I enjoyed preparing this with my mother as a little girl. I hope you enjoy baking this dessert.



Ingredients


1 cup of flour

1 cup of sugar

1 teaspoon of baking powder

¾ teaspoon salt

APPLES, PEALED, SLICED

1 beaten egg

1/3 cup of melted butter

cinnamon


Directions

  • Preheat oven at 350 degrees

  • Grease an 8x8 pan

  • Place apples in pan

  • Sift dry ingredients into bowl, add egg, stir with fork

  • Sprinkle over apples

  • Pour melted butter over everything and sprinkle on top with cinnamon.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown
