¡Hola todos! My name is Nizida Acharte, pero like, you can call me Nizi for short. I am a 3rd year dental student, and so far interested in General Dentistry but still have an open-mind. I am a first-generation Peruvian born and raised in Waterford, CT. I attended UConn-Storrs for undergrad and took a gap year prior to starting dental school. One of my missions in life is to continue to give back to the Hispanic community however I can.

Hi guys! My name is Jorge.
I am a second year medical student who was born and raised in CT. My parents and my whole extended family are from Honduras, so growing up I use to visit yearly. My experiences in Honduras showed me how fortunate I truly am and the importance of giving back to those less fortunate. This encouraged me to become the Community Service Chair at LMSA and help out the local Hartford community as best as possible. As a physician I hope that I can continue to work with the underserved and impoverished communities both abroad and locally!
